When Love Eclipses Despair

As my existence begins to settle into a new normal with stability and an ability to look toward the future, it seems like it is finally time to start blogging again.

Earlier this week, on August 1, I was overwhelmed and humbled by the outpouring of support and love from friends, family, and acquaintances as I announced my upcoming book: The End of Divine Truthiness.

In the vast flood of well-wishes I was reminded that even in the midst of looming catastrophes, political chaos, and so many personal crises, we each possess a potent ability to wield our power with gentleness and compassion.

Thank you.

The more we practice that kind of simple loving action, the less time we spend in despair, and the less time we spend causing other people miseries.

And the whole day was topped off by this spectacular sunset where the sun was dropping right behind our town's water tower. Like our own private eclipse, it was a sight to behold.

Till next time.
